As a young man, Cortada played tennis, studied at the Lenin Vocational School and was in his third year of computer studies when he was "discovered" by La Maison (the house of Cuban fashion).
Known for his stunning green eyes, Cortada landed his big break when he became the face of GUESS, which launched him to the eyes of fashion and catapulted him to the top of the male model ranks.
In 2010, Cortada quickly became the guy everyone wants. He has modeled for "Ermanna Scervin", "Julipet Collections", as well gracing the pages of "GQ España" and "Details" magazine.
